I am a lover of shadows… especially the long ones. The way you pass through light and dark, knowing when you are in the darkness there is always light ahead. When given the opportunity we would surely want to stay in the the light, avoiding the heartache and sorrow of the dark, the unknown. But doesn’t light look brighter when you have seen the contrast of the dark? We can rest, even in the shadows, because He is always walking the path with us.
